Aluminum Extrusions
l What is Aluminum Extrusions?
Aluminum profile is an alloy material with aluminum as the main component. Aluminum rods are hot-melted and extruded to obtain aluminum materials with different cross-sectional shapes.
The manufacturing process includes design, mold opening, casting, extrusion, aging, surface treatment, and deep processing.
l Types of aluminum profiles
l Classification by use
1. Aluminum Construction profiles.
2. Aluminum Industrial profiles
At Aojinfan, we have a variety of products for you to choose from construction aluminum profiles and industrial aluminum profiles.
l Classification by alloy composition
It can be divided into 1024, 2011, 6063, 6061, 6082, 7075 and other alloy grade aluminum profiles, of which 6 series are the most common. The difference between different grades is that the ratio of various metal components is different.
l Classification by surface treatment
1. Anodized aluminum
2. Electrophoretic coated aluminum
3. Powder Coated Aluminum
4. Wood grain transfer aluminum
5. Fluorocarbon sprayed aluminum
6. Polished Aluminum
l The use of aluminum profiles:
Aluminum profiles are widely used in various fields, such as doors and windows, handrails and fences, radiators, LED Channels, frames, etc.
l How to Choose Aluminum Profiles?
1. Determine the purpose. Today, the production of aluminum profiles has formed a complete system, and engineers have classified aluminum materials for different purposes;
2. Choose aluminum alloy. Different aluminum alloy grades have different functions and are suitable for different products. It is necessary to understand the required properties of the product in advance and select the corresponding aluminum alloy, or consult professionals;
3. Select the production method. Extrusion and die-casting are two main production methods, and the appropriate production method should be selected according to product requirements;
4. Select the surface treatment process. We can carry out various finishing treatments such as anodizing, electrophoresis, powder coating, wood grain treatment, fluorocarbon and so on for aluminum profiles. Select the appropriate surface treatment process according to the product requirements.
5. Fabrication. According to actual needs, the aluminum profiles are processed such as CNC milling, fixed-length cutting, punching, bending, etc.
6. Check. It should be checked whether the surface of the aluminum material is smooth and clean, whether the color is consistent with the color card, and there are no flaws such as scratches and dents. Mechanical and structural tests should also be carried out on the aluminum profiles to ensure their quality is reliable.
